The VCSEL chip is cut from wafers and then encapsulated freely, allowing the assembly steps already widely used in the LED industry to meet end-use. For high-power applications, the packaged VCSEL can be fitted with a cooling water system to prevent laser damage caused by excessive heating. Based on free packaging and free module design, VCSEL can provide flexible solutions and adapt to different scenarios. With the cooperation of multiple VCSEL modules, the infrared output power of several watts to dozens of kilowatts can be realized.
